Print Exchange attachments directly
How can I print Exchange attachments (PDF) ?
Today more and more invoices are coming by mail, with EEAttachments you get a handy service which can further process these for you. In this section I will show how to print PDF files direclty if they are arriving in your Exchange-Mailbox.
You need a program, which can process PDF files. I use the Sumatra PDF in this example.
The Foxit Reader brings the option /p which can print PDF directly from command line.
In order to print it by EEAttachements, please enter the path to the Foxit Reader program into the field "start program" and enter the commandlineparameter in to the field arguments as follows: -print-to <printer-name> %file%
You can enter a filetypefilter: *.pdf as well.
In order to give "EEAttachments" or any other windows service access to the printer you should start the service as another user as you can read here. Please start the reader manually once with the selected user, because there could be a lisence you have to accept first.
