This service gives you the opportunity to migrate your Exchange data from one Exchange server to another, from one domain to another or from one Office 365 account to another as well as from on-premise to Cloud and vice versa.

Depending upon the configuration, you can continue to work on both sides during the process without down times before conclusively shutting down the old system. With ExMixedFolders you have the possibility to create orders with Excel, and thereby save a lot of time when creating the are to be created for each mailbox. ExMixedFolders also continues to offer an option for creating mass tasks on the basis of a template.

Because ExMixedFolders can also carry out synchronization in both directions, it is even possible for your employees to move back and forth between the new and the old system. This means that you can also create orders for VIPs with higher priority. A statistic thereby shows you the actual status of orders and an approximate estimate of the time still required until completion of the tasks.

Functionality

The Windows Service ExMixedFolders works via the EWS (Exchange Web Service) with Exchange data. You can thus choose where you want to install the service. This can be one of the Exchange servers, or a third computer which has access to the Exchange Web Service per SSL.

Usage of the service presumes that the user mailboxes to be migrated have already been created on the destination side (e.g. with ADMT)

Following the installation of ExMixedFolders, the service is configured with the two administrative users of side A and side B. The users then access all other mailboxes via impersonation. Access to the individual mailboxes is thereby configured for each mailbox or public folder hierarchy with so-called "synchronization orders". In this process ExMixedFolders can help you in that you only need to enter the e-mail addresses of the A and B sides. All other information is copied from a template.
